Born and raised in Ukraine, I immigrated to the United States in 2002 with a lifelong fascination for architecture and design. Though I began my professional life as an engineer, I was deeply drawn to how light shapes space — how it moves across surfaces, interacts with materials, and transforms our perception of form.

After settling in the U.S., I left industry behind and founded a small stained glass studio — a quiet beginning that would gradually evolve into a sculptural practice rooted in light and glass. Over the past two decades, I’ve completed hundreds of commissioned works, each one shaped by the distinct character of its setting and the people who inhabit it.

With the rise of LED technology, I saw an opportunity to move beyond traditional stained glass. I began developing new methods of working with cast and polished glass, creating sculptural elements that capture, refract, and diffuse light in precise and poetic ways. I designed modular systems that allow these works to glow from within — not as functional lighting, but as artworks composed with light.

My sculptures explore the intersection between material and atmosphere. They are not fixtures but quiet presences—freestanding or wall-mounted works that transform their surroundings through stillness, reflection, and depth. I view glass not simply as a medium, but as a lens through which light takes on weight, tone, and emotion.

Today, I live and work in Louisville, Kentucky, continuing to explore this dialogue between structure and glow, clarity and shadow, mass and motion. Each piece is an invitation to slow down—to experience light not as utility, but as presence.
